Consultant Emergency Medicine Leader (HOD) – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine with proven Head of Department leadership to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role combines advanced clinical expertise with strategic departmental management to deliver world‑class patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Emergency Medicine Department, ensuring high standards of clinical care and operational efficiency.
• Provide expert diagnosis and management of acute medical and surgical emergencies across all age groups.
• Supervise and perform advanced emergency procedures including airway management, trauma resuscitation, cardiac emergencies, and critical care stabilization.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, protocols, and evidence‑based practices.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management of medical and nursing teams.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Emergency Medicine and board certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 10–15 years post‑specialization experience, including proven HOD or senior leadership role.
• Eligibility for licensing with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
