About the role
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its continuity‑based primary care, preventive health and chronic disease management services. The organisation seeks a highly skilled Consultant in Family Medicine to join a modern, quality‑driven clinical team serving a diverse international patient population.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, addressing acute, chronic and preventive health needs.
- Manage common conditions, chronic diseases, vaccinations, screening programmes and lifestyle‑risk reduction.
- Coordinate referrals and ensure continuity of care with specialists, diagnostics and allied‑health teams.
- Deliver evidence‑based counselling on family health, occupational health, travel medicine and wellness.
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, patient education and follow‑up planning.
- Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, preventive‑care campaigns and patient‑safety projects.
Required profile
- Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine with recognised qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCGP, European specialist, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACGP/FACRRM, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent).
- Eligibility for UAE licensing and facility credentialing.
- Proven experience in primary care and chronic disease management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to international healthcare standards and patient‑centred care.
Required skills
- Clinical expertise in family medicine across the lifespan.
- Knowledge of preventive health, chronic disease management and vaccination protocols.
- Proficiency in patient counselling and health education.
- Strong documentation and follow‑up planning abilities.
- Experience coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.
