Consultant Family Medicine – UAE

About the role

The leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its primary and ambulatory care services and seeks a Consultant Family Medicine to join a multidisciplinary clinical team. This full‑time position offers the chance to deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse international patient population while working in a modern, quality‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions for patients of all ages.
• Deliver preventive services including health screening, immunisations, lifestyle counselling and wellness programmes.
• Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and cardiovascular disorders using evidence‑based guidelines.
• Perform appropriate outpatient procedures and handle minor emergencies in the clinic.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist physicians and ensure continuity of care through patient education and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals and specialist teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with medico‑legal and patient safety standards.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, continuing medical education and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Internationally trained Consultant Family Medicine physician with a recognised qualification (e.g., ABFM, UK CCT/MRCGP, CCFP, FRACGP, European Specialist, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS/MMed or equivalent).
• Experience in delivering primary care across all age groups and managing chronic diseases.
• Commitment to preventive medicine, patient‑centred communication and international healthcare standards.
