Consultant Nephrology - Comprehensive Kidney Care

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its renal services and seeks a Consultant Nephrologist to join a multidisciplinary team. The position offers exposure to acute and chronic kidney care, dialysis programmes and transplant coordination within a modern, quality‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders, glomerular disease and hypertension.
• Oversee haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and renal replacement therapy planning.
• Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient continuity of care for complex renal patients.
• Coordinate care with urology, vascular surgery, cardiology, endocrinology, ICU and transplant teams.
• Guide medication optimisation, renal nutrition, patient education and complication prevention.
• Support dialysis quality indicators, infection control, audit and renal service governance.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised nephrology qualification (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/MRCP, European Board, Royal College Canada, Australian FRACP, Arab Board, DM/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in managing a broad spectrum of renal disorders and dialysis services.
