About the role
The Consultant Radiologist will lead the radiology department, delivering patient‑centric, evidence‑based care while ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality clinical services to patients efficiently and ethically.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
- Maintain accurate medical records and support continuous professional development.
Required profile
- Basic medical degree with a recognised fellowship/diploma and UAE specialist registration.
- Active life‑support certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
- 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience at Consultant level; preferred experience in a Tier 1 country.
- Ability to facilitate clinical clerkship training for students and junior colleagues.
Required skills
- Proficiency in an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Knowledge of clinical audit standards and processes.
