Consultant / Specialist Pediatric Cardiologist - Dubai

About the role

A leading multispecialty tertiary care hospital in Dubai is expanding its pediatric cardiac services and is recruiting experienced Consultant / Specialist Pediatric Cardiologists to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The role suits internationally trained specialists who want tax-free income, advanced infrastructure and global clinical exposure in the UAE healthcare system.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in pediatric patients
• Perform and interpret echocardiography, ECG, cardiac MRI and stress testing
• Conduct pediatric cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty and other interventional procedures
• Provide pre- and post-operative cardiac evaluation with pediatric cardiac surgeons
• Manage neonatal and critical pediatric cardiac cases, including ICU involvement
• Deliver long-term care and follow-up for chronic cardiac conditions
• Counsel families on diagnosis, treatment options and prognosis
• Take part in clinical governance, audits and quality improvement
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents and medical students

Required profile

• Minimum 3-5+ years after specialist/board certification
• Recognised qualifications such as American Board of Pediatrics (Cardiology), UK CCT / MRCPCH with a pediatric cardiology fellowship, European Board Certification, Royal College (Canada), Australian Fellowship, Arab Board, or DM/MD/DNB in pediatric cardiology
• Eligible for DHA / DOH license conversion, with full support provided
