Consultant Urologist

About the role

M42 is seeking a Tier 1 Consultant Urologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves delivering comprehensive urological care, managing complex cases, and performing advanced surgical procedures within a global healthcare network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex urological disorders.
• Deliver outpatient, inpatient, surgical, and consultative urology services.
• Perform advanced minimally invasive and laparoscopic urological procedures.
• Manage complex stone disease, benign prostatic conditions, urinary tract disorders, male reproductive health issues, and urological malignancies.
• Lead multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with Oncology, Nephrology, Radiology, and other specialties.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of advanced urological services.
• Drive quality‑improvement initiatives and support clinical governance.
• Mentor junior physicians and participate in education, research, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide on‑call coverage for emergencies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completed residency in Urology and fellowship or advanced subspecialty training from a Tier 1 country.
• Consultant qualification recognized by the Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, with eligibility for a DOH license.
• 8‑10 years of consultant‑level experience in a leading tertiary or academic medical centre.
• Proven record of excellence in advanced urological surgery and complex case management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
