Coordinator of Royal & Executive Medical Services

About the role

The Coordinator Medical Services supports the Royal, Protocol, International and Executive Health (R‑PIE) division, ensuring that VIP and high‑profile patients receive confidential, seamless coordination of their medical journey. Working closely with the Senior Coordinator, physicians, facility managers and clinical staff, the role acts as a primary point of contact for assigned royal/VIP patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to the Senior Coordinator in resolving complaints or incidents involving royal/VIP patients.
• Escort patients during visits, deliver medications, communicate follow‑up appointments, tests and cost estimates.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for assigned royal/VIP patients, coordinating their care through email and phone communication with external providers and internal staff.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient requests, information and services.
• Utilize listening, validation and empathy skills to ensure a positive experience for patients and families.
• Liaise with senior management on assessment and ongoing management of royal/VIP patient services.
• Represent the department in meetings related to royal/VIP patient issues and coordinate with other facilities as needed.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams, committees and departmental process‑improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure patient data is recorded in the department’s database for reporting.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of relevant experience in a healthcare facility.
• High School degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or a diploma with at least 3 additional years of experience.
