Copier/MFP Engineer (On‑Field)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Copier/MFP Engineer to provide on‑site technical support for multifunction printers and copiers. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and customer training to ensure maximum machine uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex hardware faults, including fuser, drum, developer, belts, rollers, and PCBs.
• Install, commission, and configure A3/A4 colour and monochrome multifunction printers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, firmware updates, and network configuration (TCP/IP, SMB, SMTP, scan‑to‑folder/email).
• Provide technical support to junior technicians and coordinate spare‑parts requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on copier/MFP technical experience.
• Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT or related field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with ability to mentor junior staff.
• Valid UAE driving licence is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, electronic and image‑quality issues.
• Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, SMB, SMTP, printer drivers, scanning configurations.
• Experience with major copier brands (Ricoh, Sharp, Canon, Xerox, etc.).
• Ability to read service manuals, error logs and perform firmware updates.
