Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Archirodon Group N.V, a leading international EPC contractor, is seeking a Cost Control Engineer for a project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing project costs, budgets and earned value to ensure financial performance aligns with contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Support drafting of project‑specific Cost Control Procedures and preparation of Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) aligned with WBS and contract pricing.
• Collect actual costs, allocate them to the CBS and calculate Value of Work Done (VOWD).
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) for both man‑hours and cost, and prepare monthly forecasts.
• Prepare cost estimates for variations and claims, review subcontractor cost estimates, and monitor cost variances.
• Maintain cost records for materials, equipment and manpower, and contribute to project close‑out reporting.
• Prepare regular client billing, review subcontractor invoices and participate in site meetings to discuss cost reports.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably on EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Previous employment with leading EPC contractors is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under stressful situations and strong communication skills in English.
