Country Head Gulf

About the role

Sandoz is looking for a Country Head Gulf based in Dubai. The role leads and develops a competitive drug asset strategy, partnering across the disease ecosystem to set strategy for the current and future product portfolio and maximise patient impact. It also leads the overall performance of the country or cluster organisation, working with global and regional leaders to deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear business vision and strategy for the drug asset, aligned to the global vision, and shape the asset pipeline and portfolio
• Lead business units, functional groups and support teams, and drive successful launches and resource management
• Develop early brand strategies until handover to International, including the Integrated Insights Plan
• Maintain brand integrity and consistency across the lifecycle, and contribute to joint venture and licensing decisions
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning and development, and foster an excellence-oriented, customer-focused culture
• As Country President, ensure alignment across business units and optimise business synergies
• Deliver financial and business results (revenue growth, profitability, market share), operational excellence and people, capability and management goals
