Customer Relationship Officer – Floater

About the role

The Customer Relationship Officer – Floater supports ADIB’s branch network in the Central Region of Abu Dhabi by covering any CRO shortage and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality banking services. The role acts as a flexible resource to maintain operational stability, improve customer experience, and help branches meet their financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support to branches to reduce customer waiting time, handle complaints, and cover CRO shortfalls.
• Assist branches in preparing budget variance comments and achieving monthly sales targets for financial products.
• Ensure compliance with ADIB policies, operational controls, and UAE banking regulations.
• Share best practices with new CROs and report non‑standard procedures to promote consistency across the network.
• Act as custodian for securities items related to customer service.
• Handle deposit account inquiries, open/close accounts, process requests (cheque books, ATM cards, standing orders, internet banking) and issue related certificates.
• Manage finance product inquiries, prepare credit limit applications, open/close finance accounts, and issue finance‑related certificates.
• Record and execute customer instructions received via mail, fax, phone, or other channels.
• Perform general administrative tasks such as preparing memos and customer letters.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by Branch Management.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Familiarity with ADIB’s operational policies and procedures.
• Fair understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, and associated risks.
• Thorough knowledge of regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
