Customer Sales & Service Agent (SkyCargo)

About the role

As a Customer Sales & Service Agent for SkyCargo, you will be the front‑line representative for Emirates customers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Dubai World Central (DWC). You will deliver high‑quality service while selling airline tickets, cargo solutions and related products, aiming to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in person, providing tariff information, issuing online tickets and selling ancillary services such as Skywards membership, Dubai stop‑overs, hotel bookings and fare upgrades.
• Ensure ticket issuance complies with airline rules, passport, visa and health requirements, and maintain accurate documentation and promotional material at the counter.
• Support the Team Leader with end‑of‑day sales reconciliation and cash handling.
• Develop and maintain a database of potential customers, follow up with calls and inform them of new services.
• Handle cargo queries from quotation through reservation, provide system support for self‑service on the website, and keep agents updated on shipment status.
• Identify improvement ideas to increase sales and revenue.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in cargo or logistics.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and customer‑service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced sales team.
• Proficiency with PC applications, especially Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of airline industry procedures and methodology.
