Customer Service Clerk

About the role

The Customer Service Clerk is responsible for handling customer orders and inquiries, ensuring accurate processing and timely delivery. This role works closely with internal teams such as Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to provide seamless order fulfillment and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and accurately enter customer orders into the system.
• Respond to customer questions about products, pricing, availability, and delivery status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Finance to guarantee smooth order processing.
• Monitor order progress and follow up to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Handle complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain and update customer records and order files.
• Prepare daily order reports and support operational reporting.
• Communicate stock availability and delivery updates to customers and sales teams.
• Document all orders, returns, and credit notes correctly.
• Assist the Accounts Department with billing or invoice issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor/Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum High School diploma.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar customer service or order processing role.
