Customer Service Specialist - Lighting

About the role

Royalux FZCO is looking for a Customer Service Specialist with a background in the lighting industry, based in Dubai. The specialist manages client communication, prepares accurate quotations, supports sales operations and ensures a smooth customer experience from inquiry to order completion. The role requires strong product knowledge of lighting solutions and good coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries about lighting products, specifications, pricing and availability.
• Prepare, review and issue accurate quotations based on client requirements, project specifications and company pricing guidelines.
• Provide product recommendations and technical guidance so solutions match project needs.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement and technical teams for timely quotations and order confirmations.
• Follow up on quotations, track customer responses and support conversion into confirmed orders.
• Manage customer accounts and resolve concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Process sales orders accurately, including pricing, product codes and delivery timelines.
• Maintain records of quotations, correspondence and customer interactions, and support the sales team with project proposals and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service or sales support within the lighting industry (LED fixtures, architectural lighting, commercial lighting).
• Strong understanding of lighting products, specifications and basic technical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills, professional and customer-focused.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/CRM systems.
• Ability to prepare and manage quotations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
