Customer Success Advocate

About the role

Join Ciena, a global leader in high‑speed connectivity, as a Customer Success Advocate. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, helping clients realize value from Ciena’s products and services while supporting growth and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding activities with Sales, documenting goals, expectations and success criteria.
• Build trusted relationships across customer Engineering, Operations and Implementation teams.
• Drive product adoption through data analysis and structured success methodologies.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities in collaboration with Account Management.
• Monitor health indicators, mitigate post‑sales risks and orchestrate cross‑functional issue resolution.
• Conduct business reviews to communicate achievements and recommend solutions that increase value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in telecommunications customer engagement (customer success, technical support, service delivery).
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving approach and ability to influence outcomes through persuasion and negotiation.
