Lead ELV Engineer

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a Lead ELV Engineer to design and oversee the implementation of audio‑visual, ICT, and security systems across a range of high‑profile facilities in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Design AV solutions for conference rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, control rooms and collaboration spaces, including schematics, layouts, BOQs and technical specifications.
• Oversee installation, programming, testing and commissioning of video‑conferencing, displays, projection, DSP, AV‑over‑IP and control systems.
• Design structured cabling, LAN/WLAN, data‑centre and telecom room infrastructure, preparing layouts, containment routes, rack elevations and cable schedules.
• Coordinate with networking, MEP and IT teams to ensure infrastructure requirements are met.
• Design CCTV, access‑control, intrusion‑detection and other electronic security systems, developing architecture, device schedules and cabling layouts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AV, ICT and security system design and implementation.
• Ability to produce detailed technical documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements, local regulations and industry standards.

Required skills

• AV system design (video‑conferencing, displays, projection, DSP, AV‑over‑IP)
• Structured cabling, LAN/WLAN, data‑centre infrastructure
• CCTV, access‑control and intrusion‑detection system design
• Familiarity with AVIXA CTS, RCDD, WiredScore & SmartScore certifications (preferred)
