Cyber Security Associate (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Cyber Security Associate is an entry‑level position within the GISD function of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. The role offers exposure to multiple cyber security domains, including defense, operations, governance, risk, compliance, and engineering, while supporting cross‑functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support ADIB teams in data security assessments and produce related reports.
• Conduct research, internal process work, engineering tasks, and operational activities.
• Develop penetration methods, scripts, and tests, and present findings to management.
• Monitor emerging security threats and communicate risk implications to stakeholders.
• Participate in GISD projects and ensure timely completion of assigned training.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a reputable university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT or a related field.
• Quick learner, adaptable, and able to work in a highly motivated environment.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility, persistence, and willingness to handle a variety of tasks.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of cyber security domains.
• Basic understanding of risk frameworks.
• Fundamental principles and practices of information security.
