Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

You will join Mintlayer as a Cyber Security Engineer, focusing on securing web applications and expanding into mobile and Rust‑based software security. The role blends hands‑on security testing with the design of robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security measures for web‑based products.
• Conduct both automated and manual security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Read, interpret and apply RFCs or other technical specifications in security implementations.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience with web security concepts.
• Ability to read and implement RFCs or technical specifications.
• Proven JavaScript development experience.
• Comfortable performing automated and manual security testing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Solid understanding of security issues and industry best practices.
