Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join a leading manufacturing and industrial operations company in Ras Al Khaimah. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will protect the organisation’s internal digital environment, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its data and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IAM and privileged access governance, applying Least‑Privilege and Zero‑Trust principles.
• Manage endpoint protection through EDR and MDM solutions for laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
• Configure firewalls, secure VPN access and oversee routine patching, backups and system hardening.
• Monitor SIEM alerts (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk), investigate incidents and isolate compromised assets.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, network scans and risk reviews, applying timely remediation.
• Maintain audit‑ready logs, incident reports and SOPs to support ISO IMS and regulatory audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity, SOC, NOC or IT infrastructure security.
• Demonstrated experience securing internal devices, data and access controls.
