Data Analyst – ICQA LND Analytics Team (UAE National)

About the role

Amazon is a highly data‑driven company where analysts create unique reports from multiple data sources and provide vital insights into quality defects and inventory adjustments. The ICQA Data Analyst works closely with ICQA, Learning and Finance teams to deliver analytical support for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data collection processes and data management systems.
• Design queries, compile data, and generate reports using SQL.
• Chart and graph data for reporting purposes.
• Build dashboards in Amazon Quicksight to support decision‑making.
• Create automation solutions for analysis with Python.
• Prepare and publish reports for weekly, quarterly and project reviews.
• Assist leadership in interpreting data trends.
• Research defect trends in depth.
• Collect and enter data as needed.
• Present analysis in standard, easy‑to‑digest reports.
• Support ICQA and Learning team projects.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Experience communicating clearly with leadership, stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage and execute large projects from start to finish.
• Understanding of business and customer needs and translating them into solutions.
• Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda and IAM.
