Data Center Engineer/Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join AWS Infrastructure Services to keep the global cloud running. As a Data Center Engineer/Technician you will be the primary resolver for hardware, fiber, networking and related infrastructure issues across AWS data centers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the highest safety standards and support safety inspections.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and network problems, following SOPs.
• Perform break‑and‑fix repairs, server rack decommissions, media removal and destruction.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of equipment failures and document findings.
• Handle and lift equipment up to 18 kg and work at heights as required.

Required profile

• Ability to follow strict safety protocols in red‑zone and floor operations.
• Physical capability to lift equipment and work at heights.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to engage with other solution groups for complex issues.
