Data Center Project Manager (DCPM)

About the role

Microsoft is seeking a Data Center Project Manager (DCPM) to troubleshoot service incidents, manage projects, and ensure safe, secure operations across its cloud infrastructure. The role supports core services such as Azure, Office 365, and Xbox.

Key responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting for service incidents and escalate to meet SLA/OLA targets.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources while adhering to safety and security policies.
• Coordinate with clients and suppliers to clarify expectations and deliver solutions.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with maintenance activities.
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience with physical IT infrastructure (servers, SANs, networking, capacity planning, data‑center racks, structured cabling).
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and other security screenings.
