Data Developer

About the role

A skilled Data Developer is sought to design, develop and maintain data systems and pipelines that support business operations and analytics. You will work closely with technical and business teams to ensure data accuracy, accessibility and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, databases and ETL processes
• Design and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
• Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized systems
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues and performance problems
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and stakeholders on data requirements
• Maintain data quality, consistency and security standards
• Document data processes, workflows and system configurations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Previous experience in data development, database management or data engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks

Required skills

• SQL, databases and data integration
• Python, Java or Scala
• ETL tools, cloud platforms or big data technologies (an advantage)
• Preferred: data warehousing, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, Power BI/Tableau, data governance and security
