Demi Chef De Partie – All Day Dining

About the role

The Demi Chef De Partie will prepare and cook meals for the All Day Dining outlet at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and service.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Pull food from freezer storage, thaw, and maintain food logs.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and presentation of dishes.
• Communicate with chefs and service staff about specials, excess items, and out‑of‑stock menu items.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching team members.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any issues promptly.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of related culinary experience.
• Technical or vocational culinary education.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Professional appearance and adherence to confidentiality and asset protection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
