Demi Chef de Partie - Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a Demi Chef de Partie for its restaurant kitchen. The role works closely with the restaurant chef to organise kitchen activities and support the development of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise all activities within the restaurant kitchen area with the restaurant chef, ensuring a safe, smooth-running and profitable operation within the hotel's framework.
• Support the development of restaurant cuisine concepts and standards.
• Be familiar with local markets and suppliers, and recommend menu changes according to seasonal product availability.
• Follow Anantara food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality, and suggest improvements to them.
• Maintain food safety and protection, including proper dating, storage and rotation of food, and basic sanitation practices.
• Maintain outlet safety and take responsibility for the asset management of outlet property and facilities.
• Take part in departmental training and share training and resources with team members.
• Promote positive inter-departmental relations through open communication and cooperation.
