About the role
The Dental Assistant will support dentists in delivering high‑quality oral care at Healthpoint, a multi‑specialty hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role involves patient preparation, chair‑side assistance during procedures, and ensuring a sterile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and escort patients from the waiting area to the dental clinic.
- Assist the dentist with treatment administration at the chairside as required.
- Prepare dental materials and trays for fillings and other procedures.
- Educate patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques.
- Maintain a sterile, organized workspace following infection‑control protocols.
- Stock the clinic, manage supplies, and supervise equipment maintenance.
- Review patient health histories, make chart entries, and complete necessary forms.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a valid UAE license.
- DOH, DHA or MOH registration.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a dental health‑care setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership abilities.
