Design Architect - Emirati Talent

About the role

The Design Architect supports the Architecture & Design team in delivering high-quality design and 3D visualization solutions for shopping malls, residential communities and hotel developments. The role contributes to project vision, design concepts, functional planning and customer-focused design solutions, keeping design intent consistent from concept through delivery and strengthening the Majid Al Futtaim brand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and functional architectural layouts for retail, shopping mall and mixed-use projects
• Contribute creative design concepts, feasibility studies and functional drawings
• Support retail planning, mixed-use developments and residential master planning
• Apply customer-centric design thinking to improve user journeys and experiences
• Produce architectural plans, masterplans, sketches and presentation materials
• Create advanced 3D visualizations and renderings with the latest design technologies
• Take part in design reviews and give recommendations to maintain design quality
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, design guidelines and values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in retail, commercial, residential, mixed-use or master-planning design projects
• Experience producing high-quality 3D renderings and design presentations
• Collaborative, confident and flexible professional with strong teamwork skills

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Revit and BIM
• 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp, Lumion and 3DS Max, and AI tools
• Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office
