Design Engineer – Airport Infrastructure (UAE)

About the role

Sener is seeking experienced Airport Design Engineers to join its multidisciplinary team in Dubai, UAE. The role involves delivering safe, coordinated, and constructible airport solutions for both greenfield and brownfield projects.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake airport infrastructure design across concept, preliminary, detailed and tender stages.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, design reports, technical specifications and other deliverables.
• Design airside elements such as runways, taxiways, aprons, pavements and service roads.
• Design landside elements including access roads, parking facilities, transport interfaces and utilities.
• Coordinate designs with civil, roads, drainage, structures, architecture, MEP and other disciplines.
• Participate in technical reviews, constructability reviews and value‑engineering activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven experience on airport infrastructure projects (airside or landside).
• Experience with greenfield and/or brownfield airport developments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Airport, Transportation Engineering or related field.

Required skills

• Airport infrastructure design (airside and landside).
• Engineering calculations and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of international airport and aviation design standards.
