DevOps Engineer (Digital Commerce)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our digital commerce infrastructure. You will work on mission‑critical, customer‑facing platforms that power high‑traffic e‑commerce experiences in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, maintain and optimise AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Develop proactive monitoring, observability and alerting using New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana and PagerDuty.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and improve platform reliability.
• Support Magento/Adobe Commerce or comparable platforms (CommerceTools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Spryker, PrestaShop).
• Manage and optimise CDN configurations (CloudFront, Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly).
• Contribute to cloud cost optimisation, security hardening, backups and disaster‑recovery strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and/or GCP production environments.
• Previous experience supporting e‑commerce or digital commerce platforms (must have).
• Proven ability to manage high‑availability, mission‑critical services.
• Comfortable taking ownership in a lean, autonomous environment and handling on‑call incidents.
