DevOps Engineer - On-Premise and Hybrid Infrastructure

About the role

This DevOps Engineer position in Abu Dhabi focuses on designing, implementing and operating high-availability on-premise and hybrid infrastructure that supports fast, secure software delivery. The role covers Windows and Linux server administration, virtualization, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, networking, monitoring and security, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines that accelerate software delivery
• Design, deploy and maintain on-premise infrastructure with high availability and performance
• Support hybrid environments that integrate on-premise and cloud resources
• Automate deployment across development, staging and production
• Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure security hardening, backups, disaster recovery plans and governance, and keep comprehensive documentation
• Monitor, alert and respond to incidents, improving release velocity and stability

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Strong on-premise and hybrid infrastructure capabilities (Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, networking)
• Docker and containerization are essential; Kubernetes and broader container orchestration are preferred
• Terraform and Ansible are preferred to codify infrastructure
• Security awareness, patch management, backups and DR planning are mandatory
• Cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required for hybrid scenarios
• Hands-on problem solver with strong ownership, detail-oriented, able to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
