About the role
Join Al‑Futtaim Electric Mobility, the UAE arm of BYD, to support the transition to zero‑emission transport. As a Diagnostic Technician you will diagnose and repair complex electric vehicles, ensuring first‑time fix quality.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and perform repairs.
- Support technicians with diagnostic and repair procedures.
- Minimise repeat repairs through high‑quality workmanship.
- Communicate completed and required work clearly to service advisors, supervisors, colleagues and customers.
- Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, work methods and the workshop environment.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a reputable workshop in a similar role.
- Strong automotive diagnostic and technical skills.
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork.
- Customer‑focused, analytical and detail‑oriented.
