Director Business Excellence

About the role

The Director – Business Excellence leads the organisation’s Business Excellence framework, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency and performance excellence across all business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise‑wide Business Excellence framework using Lean Six Sigma and other recognised methodologies.
• Establish governance, KPIs, benchmarks and reporting standards; monitor metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Lead process reviews, re‑engineering and standardisation initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and optimise costs.
• Identify digitalisation and automation opportunities, partner with functions to implement technology‑enabled solutions.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, build capabilities through training and coaching, and engage leaders to adopt improvement initiatives.
• Partner with senior leadership to align initiatives with strategic priorities, track ROI and present progress to executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s/MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Business/Operational Excellence, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of leading organisation‑wide transformation and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Experience in real estate, construction, asset management or similarly complex multi‑function organisations is a plus.
