Director, Cyber & Cloud Security Advisory

About the role

Deloitte is hiring a Director in its cloud security advisory practice. You will act as a senior trusted advisor to CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, Chief Risk Officers, cloud leaders and boards on cloud security strategy, risk, architecture and transformation, while delivering complex engagements and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on cloud security strategy, governance, operating models, risk appetite, control frameworks and regulatory obligations, and lead executive workshops and steering committees.
• Design enterprise cloud security strategies across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, hybrid, private and SaaS environments, including secure landing zones, Zero Trust, identity-first security and secure remote access.
• Lead cloud security assessments, architecture reviews, threat models and control evaluations across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, containers and serverless, producing risk-rated findings and remediation plans.
• Advise on DevSecOps, secure-by-design, CI/CD security, infrastructure-as-code governance and security automation.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance obligations such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, DORA and sector-specific requirements, and support risk, resilience and incident-readiness programmes.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex engagements, including scoping, resourcing, quality assurance and delivery governance.
• Own a personal revenue target, lead proposals and bids, build reusable offerings and thought leadership, and support cross-selling to broader cyber, risk, audit and managed services practices.
• Recruit, lead, coach and develop a team of cloud security consultants and architects.
