Director, Institutional Sales – MENA Region

About the role

The Director, Institutional Sales (MENA) will build and nurture relationships with buyside and sell‑side clients across the Middle East and North Africa, promoting CME Group’s Futures and Options products. The role works closely with the Head of MEA, the EMEA sales team and internal subject‑matter experts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and create account plans to increase usage of CME Futures & Options across all asset classes.
• Deliver product and service education, collaborating with Business Line Managers and other SMEs.
• Design and execute segment‑specific sales strategies and maintain records in CME’s CRM system.
• Promote CME’s product suite, clearing services, trading technology and liquidity at regional expos and conferences.
• Meet or exceed KPIs such as call reports, client meetings and wins, while managing the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of listed derivatives and clearing, including financial and commodity products.
• Experience living and working abroad and managing large regional accounts.
• Proven track record in lead generation, conversion and account growth for new referrals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or a comparable system.
• Understanding of market data platforms or CME Direct (or similar trading platforms) is a plus.
