Director of Academic Excellence (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a visionary leader to direct its Academic Excellence function. The role is fully remote and responsible for translating evidence‑based learning science into operational practice across all partner schools.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into actionable curriculum, motivation, and platform guidelines.
• Conduct structured execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable progress.
• Integrate quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint barriers and recommend interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through continuous planning, feedback loops, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly, delivering keynotes and engaging ministries of education to champion the accelerated learning model.

Required profile

• Proven track record of articulating and owning an academic vision with measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading cross‑functional academic teams in a data‑driven environment.
• Strong ability to diagnose implementation challenges and develop leadership teams that deliver results.
• Comfort presenting in high‑stakes external forums and influencing education policy.
