Director of Marketing

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Director of Marketing in Dubai. The role leads all marketing activities, drives brand awareness and revenue growth, and works closely with Sales, Revenue and F&B teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive revenue growth.
• Lead annual marketing plans, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Oversee digital marketing, social media, public relations and advertising.
• Ensure consistent brand positioning and compliance with hotel brand standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue and F&B teams to maximise business opportunities.
• Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective return on investment.
• Build relationships with media, influencers, agencies and business partners.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and new marketing opportunities.
• Plan and run marketing initiatives for hotel outlets, events and special promotions.
• Monitor performance and prepare reports for senior management.
• Lead, motivate and develop the marketing team, and perform other duties assigned by the General Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of marketing experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proven experience in marketing strategies, brand management and digital campaigns.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, drive revenue and deliver measurable results.
• Creative, commercially driven and results-oriented.
• Knowledge of the UAE luxury hospitality market is an advantage.
