Director of Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead the day‑to‑day management of a luxury 5‑star hotel. The role ensures exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and a consistently outstanding guest experience across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the hotel, coordinating all operational departments.
• Provide strategic leadership to Food & Beverage, Culinary, Rooms, and other guest‑facing areas.
• Drive operational excellence in restaurants, bars, banqueting, room service, and culinary operations.
• Monitor performance, revenue, profitability, quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate on budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and performance improvement.
• Maintain oversight of Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa, Security, and other hotel functions.
• Lead service recovery initiatives and ensure prompt resolution of guest concerns.
• Coach and develop department heads and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations, HACCP, and other requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue generation, and guest experience.
• Support VIP arrivals, special events, and pre‑opening projects across the hospitality portfolio.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive hotel operations experience.
• Strong background in Food & Beverage and Culinary operations.
• Solid understanding of Rooms Division and other key hotel departments.
• Proven leadership of department heads and large operational teams.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations, HACCP, and brand compliance.
