Director of Residences Operations

About the role

Aman is seeking a Director of Residences Operations to lead operational excellence across its global portfolio of ultra‑luxury branded residences. Reporting to the COO, the role will define and maintain residential operating standards, ensure exceptional owner experiences, and provide financial and governance oversight for all Aman Group Residences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain Aman Residences operating standards for resort‑integrated and urban formats.
• Lead pre‑opening planning for new residential projects, from countdown through stabilization.
• Establish Homeowners Association (HOA) and residential governance frameworks during development and pre‑opening phases.
• Define service scope, staffing models, resident experience, amenity programming and residence care aligned with Aman’s brand philosophy.
• Oversee residential operations across all managed properties, setting measurable service standards and conducting regular quality reviews.
• Introduce structured owner‑satisfaction measurement and lead response actions based on findings.
• Guide and support Residence Managers and property leadership teams as the senior point of reference.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of experience in luxury hospitality, high‑end residential operations or related fields.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi‑site operations and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of residential governance, HOA and condominium association management.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to oversee budgeting and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
