Director of Sales – Luxury Hotel in Sharjah

About the role

voco Sharjah, a vibrant IHG hotel located in the heart of Sharjah, is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to drive room‑night revenue and elevate the property’s market presence. You will lead the Sales & Marketing team, shape commercial strategy, and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies that maximise revenue, market share and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, travel partners, government entities and event planners.
• Drive business across all revenue streams, including rooms, meetings & events, food & beverage and other hotel outlets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
• Lead, coach and inspire the Sales & Marketing team to achieve performance targets.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations and other departments to optimise commercial performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 5‑7 years of progressive sales and marketing experience in hospitality, including leadership in a similar role.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial strategies that drive revenue growth.
• Strong knowledge of the local and regional hospitality market and corporate/government segments.
