Director of Travel Industry Sales (GCC)

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island, a new luxury integrated resort slated to open in Spring 2027, is seeking a Director of Travel Industry Sales for the GCC region. Reporting to the Hotel Sales team, you will lead the strategy and execution of travel‑industry sales to drive room nights, ADR and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to meet budgeted room‑night, ADR and revenue targets for the leisure segment.
• Negotiate third‑party partner agreements, coordinating with legal to secure optimal terms.
• Identify, close, and manage high‑value sales opportunities across the GCC travel market.
• Lead and coach the Travel Industry sales team, monitoring performance against strategy.
• Maintain strong relationships with key internal partners (F&B, nightlife, accounting) and external travel partners.
• Create and manage promotional rate codes, analyzing program performance.
• Represent the resort at trade shows, road shows, and sales trips, actively prospecting new business.
• Analyze and apply tactical rate strategies to maximize ADR and occupancy.
• Oversee marketing campaign execution and project management aligned with the resort’s vision.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution for travel‑industry sales.
• Strong background in contract negotiation and partnership management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Extensive network within the GCC travel market and familiarity with hospitality operations.
