Director Private Banking – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Director of Private Banking will lead front‑office relationship management in Abu Dhabi, focusing on revenue generation and portfolio growth. You will be responsible for attracting new high‑net‑worth clients, expanding existing relationships, and delivering tailored wealth solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand existing client relationships while prospecting new high‑value clients.
• Increase invested asset share by providing tailored investment solutions and conducting regular account reviews with Investment Advisors.
• Collaborate across ENBD business lines—Corporate, Retail, Investment Banking, and Asset Management—to diversify the private bank’s offering.
• Lead and inspire junior team members, fostering an entrepreneurial culture and growing your own client portfolio.

Required profile

• MBA in Finance or a Bachelor’s degree (CFA or equivalent desirable).
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in Middle Eastern markets.
• Strong knowledge of assets & liabilities products, capital markets, portfolio management and investment products.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance, due diligence, anti‑money‑laundering regulations and basic legal structures such as offshore accounts and trusts.
