Director - Private Equity

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Private Equity to join a Dubai‑based investment group that is building a new media investment platform and managing a diversified portfolio across the UK and the Middle East. Reporting directly to the founders, you will work in an entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment with direct exposure to senior decision‑makers and complex transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate investment opportunities across media, technology and consumer sectors.
• Build financial models and valuation analyses from scratch, even for businesses with informal financial data.
• Lead end‑to‑end due diligence, including data‑room management, advisor coordination and financial analysis.
• Structure and support negotiations on investment terms, shareholder agreements and commercial arrangements.
• Prepare concise investment papers and recommendations for investment committees.
• Manage transaction execution and post‑investment integration, value‑creation initiatives and portfolio performance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationships with founders, management teams, advisors and counterparties.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in private equity, principal investing, family offices or related investment environments, preferably in media, technology or consumer sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of executing minority and control investment transactions.
• Strong commercial judgement, decision‑making skills and ability to work directly with senior stakeholders.
