Director, Solutions Consulting (UAE)

About the role

Anaplan, a provider of AI-infused scenario planning and analysis software used by more than 2,400 companies including Coca-Cola, LinkedIn, Adobe, LVMH and Bayer, is looking for a visionary leader to head its Solution Consulting team in the UAE. The role sits within the EMEA Presales team and is part of the EMEA Go-To-Market leadership, with a team of up to eight people.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and execute a regional strategy for the Solution Consulting team, aligned with EMEA and global goals
• Drive operational excellence and transform the team into a more agile, high-performing unit
• Own the regional Book of Business, keeping accounts aligned and accountable
• Partner with regional sales teams to allocate Presales resources and adapt engagement strategies
• Hire, mentor and develop a team of high-readiness professionals, with clear career paths
• Build trust with key stakeholders at strategic customers and partners, especially in the Emerging and GCC markets

Required profile

• Experience managing and inspiring a team of individual Presales contributors in a complex, multi-stakeholder sales environment; ideally having grown and managed a team in the region
• Track record of managing a team in the UAE or the Middle East
• Experience leading teams through change
• Fluent Arabic speaker (required)

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of SaaS applications
• Specific experience with EPM/CPM-based technologies, preferably around FP&A or supply chain platforms (preferred)
