Distribution & Reconciliation Specialist

About the role

The Logistic Coordinator will play a pivotal role in steering the Logistic Planning within the Supply Chain framework of AbbVie's Gulf-Levant Affiliate. This position requires an analytical approach to synchronize demand forecasting with improved logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Free of Charge (FOC) policy process from application through execution and reconciliation, monitoring distributors’ sales and stock reports.
• Collaborate with Key Account Managers to validate figures and ensure timely proof of delivery submission.
• Establish systematic information exchange with distributors via integrated communication protocols.
• Reflect orders in the internal tracker and follow up on delivery status with global supply teams in the Netherlands and the US.
• Provide and generate reports on order status for management, commercial teams, and distributors.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate shipment and customs documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance logistics efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or Pharma sectors with regional exposure.
• A degree in Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferable.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas).
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Resilience under pressure with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize critical activities.
