Document Control Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Document Control Lead to manage the end‑to‑end electronic document management system (EDMS) for an advanced aircraft programme in Dubai South. You will ensure that every artefact is properly classified, tracked and compliant with aerospace standards, directly supporting certification efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the EDMS taxonomy, metadata, permissions and controlled‑template library.
• Operate the full document lifecycle – identification, revision, approval, distribution and retention.
• Maintain the Evidence Register linking project milestones to supporting documentation.
• Conduct quarterly compliance audits and enforce document control policies across all workstreams.
• Manage regulator correspondence and ensure records meet ISO 15489 and AS9100D requirements.
• Train teams on EDMS usage and enforce controlled‑document standards.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years experience in document and records control within aerospace, aviation or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 15489, AS9100D and document control policies.
• Experience handling classified or ORCON records and basic PMO fluency (milestones, gates, evidence‑gating).
• Proven ability to train stakeholders and enforce compliance.
