Drama Teacher (Start August 2026)

About the role

Deira International School (DIS) is seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join its thriving Performing Arts faculty from August 2026. You will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality drama curriculum to students aged 3‑18, supporting both IGCSE and IB pathways, and contributing to the school’s vibrant co‑curricular programme.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess drama lessons across Early Years, Primary and Secondary phases.
• Prepare students for IGCSE and IB Drama examinations.
• Lead and coordinate whole‑school productions, performances, and competitions.
• Develop and supervise co‑curricular drama clubs and enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and other faculty to integrate performing arts across the curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching credential.
• Proven experience teaching drama to a diverse student body.
• Familiarity with IGCSE and IB Drama curricula.
• Strong classroom management and ability to inspire creativity.
• Commitment to the school’s inclusive ethos and wellbeing focus.
