About the role
The American University in the Emirates is seeking a reliable Driver to operate its shuttle service, providing pick‑up and drop‑off transportation for students and staff. The role involves adhering to schedules, maintaining vehicle condition, and ensuring passenger safety.
Key responsibilities
- Transport students and staff according to the provided schedule.
- Maintain logs of pick‑up and drop‑off times.
- Monitor speed limits and ensure passenger safety.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fuelled, and up‑to‑date on maintenance.
- Prepare, gather, deliver, and collect supplies for university events.
- Maintain appropriate records of deliveries and transport activities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant driving experience in the UAE.
- Professional appearance and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility with work timings, including night shifts.
