Electrical Engineer - Generators

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee diesel generator projects, from installation and commissioning to ongoing maintenance. The role involves ensuring reliable power backup for client sites across the UAE/GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and control system faults.
• Inspect generators, alternators, AVR systems, batteries, breakers, and control panels.
• Conduct load bank testing, synchronization checks, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and synchronization panels.
• Supervise overhauls, emergency repairs, and commissioning of newly installed units.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, service reports, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and on‑site teams to ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with diesel generator systems and power backup solutions.
• Hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of generator control panels.
• Ability to work closely with clients and site teams to deliver reliable power solutions.
• Preferably experienced in the UAE/GCC market within generator or power‑solutions companies.
