Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will work full‑time on‑site at Señor Pepe’s Mexican Foods Factory in Dubai, ensuring all electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will support production lines, packaging machinery and safety systems while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair motors, control panels, PLCs, sensors and wiring across the production facility.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and diagnostic checks to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, document all maintenance activities and coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, lockout/tagout procedures and food‑manufacturing safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or food‑processing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Dubai and follow shift schedules as required.

Required skills

• Industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels and PLCs.
• Sensors, wiring and electrical schematics interpretation.
• Lockout/tagout safety procedures and local electrical code compliance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical utilities such as pumps, compressors and HVAC (advantage).
